Is Guzaarish inspired by Spanish film The Sea Inside?

The first look promo of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's highly anticipated Hrithik-Aishwarya starrer Guzaarish was unveiled earlier this week. While the promo is quite splendid to say the least, the film does bear some resemblance to a 2004 Spanish film called The Sea Inside which is based on a true story of a sailor Ramdon Sampredo who becomes a quadriplegic following an accident. In Guzaarish, the buzz is that Hrithik, who plays a magician, ends up in a wheelchair because of an accident that happens when a magic trick goes wrong.

Bhansali's earlier films such as Black was also inspired from The Miracle Worker while Saawariya was loosely based on a Russian short story 'White Nights'.

While neither Bhansali nor his lead actors were in any mood to reveal even a bit about the story of Guzaarish at the launch event, going by the promos of the two films, there is no denying that there is some similarity between Guzaarish and The Sea Inside.

Check Out: Aamir Khan as milkman in Tata Sky's new ad

Aamir Khan is known to get into the skin of the character he plays. This is all the more evident in the latest Tata Sky commercial which sees Aamir playing a milkman.

The commercial, in a funny way, shows Tata Sky's new feature which allows customers a subscription holiday once a year. Like his previous avatars, Aamir once again seems completely in character as he plays a milkman who argues with a customer who is willing to pay for only the days he was in town. Aamir in turn explains that the cow who gives milk doesn't know that the customer was on vacation and hence asks him to pay for the whole month's milk supply.

After seeing the commercial, one thing is certain that this actor truly deserves the tag of 'Mr. Perfectionist'.

This week Emraan Hashmi and composer Ismail Darbar were special guests on the show. Both Karma and Altamash were hopeful but unfortunately had to leave this show due to less public votes. Emraan had a good time and was impressed with the contestants. Their mentors Vishal-Shekhar and Sajid-Wajid were also disappointed with the results; however they cheered both of them and promised to help them in future.
Daler Mehndi’s team of five singers was safe. The elimination episode is likely to air on Saturday.
